Log Cabin Home Pa

Included in most Washington, D.C. travel plans and lying in Virginia just across the Potomac River sits Arlington National Cemetery. Most visit the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Kennedy grave site, but this hallowed ground contains famous Americans who are interesting though sometimes forgotten.

Walking from the visitors center, follow the signs towards the Kennedy grave site. Once at the entrance to that site, turn right on Sheridan Drive. Just past Section 5, which holds the graves of multiple justices of the U.S. Supreme Court, take the long stair case on the left. Near the top and on the left there is a low red brick wall surrounding a grave that answers a basic question about this cemetery.
